Numerical simulation of temperature variation in water layer induced by thermal jet in weak stratified environment

In order to explore the rising and diffusing path of an underwater thermal jet temperature variation each water layer in typical ocean thermohaline stratified environment, a three-dimensional mass-heat transport model weak environment was built by using Detached-Eddy Simulation method Volume Fluid simulate whole life evolution process different depths, difference, flow rate. A series characteristic parameters were constructed quantitatively evaluate change caused jet. The results show that disturbance on environmental body will lead distribution isothermal layer. Under combined influence conduction, convection, entrainment, signals, cold–thermal mixing or cold signals may appear layers, boundary range are decided relative position between surface.
